Cooley Ballroom

  • Full ballroom be split in three
  • A,B,C can seat 148 classroom, 224 banquet, 400 theater
  • 1/3 takes 32 U, 40 square, 56 classroom, 64 banquet, 120 theater
  • 2/3 takes 40 U, 48 square, 112 classroom, 156 banquet, 300 theater
  • Building has piano and small stage
  • 3 total screens with projectors in sealing,

Sun Devil Fitness Center (SDFC)

  • Have three large basketball courts, one separated by wall
  • Two racket ball courts
  • Three multipurpose rooms that can seat from 30-49 people
  • You need to rent equipment for all exercise rooms listed above.

Century Hall

  • Beautiful Courtyard with BBQ and limited seating available
  • Large lawn
  • Multipurpose area, two rooms or it can be combined into one room.
  • There are 24 seats and 12 tables per room–combined holding 48 seats
  • However, if configured a certain way, the room can accommodate up to 60 guests with additional chairs
  • AV equipment is included
  • You can use any caterer on the approved list for this venue

Black Box Theater

The room is booked online through Astra by assigned scheduler in your department, cost is $50 per event, payable 7 days before your event date.

The room has been approved by the Fire Marshall for additional setups;

  • Standard set up for furniture in this room is 70 seats using the bleachers.  If you need access to the bleachers please contact a minimum of two business days prior to your event to have them unlocked for your use.   
  • Chairs Only – Capacity of 155,
  • Bleachers + Chairs – Capacity 201 (70 on Bleachers +131 in Chairs)
  • Standing Only – Capacity of 333
  • Bleachers + Standing – Capacity 352 (70 on Bleachers + 282 Standing)
  • Tables and Chairs – Capacity of 155
  • Bleachers + Tables and Chairs – Capacity 201 (70 on Bleachers + 131 in Tables and Chairs)  

Other Information

  • You are responsible for renting any equipment for the room other than the bleachers
  • You are required to hire Olympus to clean the theatre right after your event is done
  • No items may be left in the building overnight.  Those that fail to do this will be charged up to a $150.00 reset fee. 
  • If you change the setup of the room it must be returned to the original setup before you leave. 
  • The room has large doors that can open into a patio area creating a great indoor/outdoor reception atmosphere when weather permits.
  • You can use any caterer on the approved list for this venue, Classroom Scheduling will need to be informed prior to the event that there will be food and drink to avoid fines.  You can do this by making a note in the “Event Description” box on the event form.

Devils Den

  • Room for students to relax in with sofas nice size
  • Can hold up to 50 people
  • Not available during lunch when school is in session

Administration Conference Room

  • Admin 140
  • holds 30 but can seat 42 with additional furniture and setup
  • equiped with projector and computer
  • Podium available but no mic

Innovation Hub

  • Great space for larger events
  • Can be used for hands on workshop
  • 8 smaller conference rooms available for reservation as well

Innovation Classroom Space Peralta Hall

  • Engineering has two rooms use for building and assembling projects in PRLTA
  • These can be used for workshops or for event wanting a unique surrounding

Lecture halls – classroom space

  • Poly has multiple nice size lecture halls that can seat from 100-423
  • Booked online through Astra by assigned scheduler in your department

  • Can be difficult to get during the school year
  • No food is allowed in academic facilities, however several of the halls have larger foyer where you can reserve food before or after your event


  • There are several ways to reserve parking at poly
  • You can book a whole lot, or a part of a lot or just have validation stickers
  • Parking services is also great at helping setup directional signs for your event for small fee
